The title of the piece, Extempore Anamnesis, came from the idea that unconscious recollections of the past occur in a spontaneous and ephemeral manner. To express this idea, I used a quotation of La Folia in the middle section. The quotation, like an unexpected and sudden memory, provides a musical moment which brings surprising pleasure.

On top of this, I experimented with the concept of sound energy through a process of accumulation and dispersion. The flow of the sound energy created by diverse timbres, registral shifts and dynamic contrasts function as the piece's driving force.
